A Peace of mind is the greatest form of wealth!

A 1991 graduate of Central Texas Commercial college with a Medical Secretary / Transcription degree. Born and raised in West Texas, to a very hard working mother, I developed a strong work ethic early, which I instilled in my own children. My mother is my inspiration. It gives me strength and a boost of confidence to think of my mother. This woman sacrificed so much for her children. I tell my precious mother all the time how much I appreciate all she has done for me and my siblings. She is phenomenal and simply amazing! I am the proud mother of two adult sons and 7 grandchildren. I have 6 siblings in which we are all very close and I love and appreciate all of the support they give me and they love when I write new and read my poems to the I absolutely love food and am a pretty good cook if I may say so myself. I enjoy good music, restaurants, watching classic movies, traveling, visiting museums, taking a scenic walk in the park and just being out in nature. Writing is my true love and passion. It gives me strength but also brings a peace in me one would not understand unless they too were a writer. I write poetry as well as song lyrics. I am a pretty good singer so I've been told. In 2013, I traveled to Austin, Texas and auditioned for the "VOICE," although I wasn't chosen, it was still a great experience! This is my very first blog, so please be patient with me as I am working diligently on mastering the art of BLOGGING!
