Remembering Philip Parris Lynott today, August 20th on what would have been his 71st birthday. Lynott was born on August 20, 1949, and was an Irish singer, musician, and songwriter. His most commercially successful group was Thin Lizzy, of which he was a founding member, the principal songwriter, lead vocalist, and bassist. He was known for his imaginative lyrical contributions including working-class tales and numerous characters drawn from personal influences and Celtic culture.

Sadly the world lost this great singer, songwriter, bassist, poet, model, father, son & friend to so many on January 4,1986.

I am posting some of his video’s from his early days with the Black Eagles, Skid Row & Thin Lizzy. We miss him dearly but are so grateful to still have his legacy of music.
